Perhaps he is following a strategy that maximizes his win potential, even if it
devastating affects you.
It's no more cheating than people going all-in a lot preflop, minimizing any
possible advantage you have at post-flop play.
If he is cheating, what rule is he breaking? How exactly would you word the
rules to prevent it? Perhaps FTP will consider changing their policy, but if i
is wrong, what remedy is possible during a tournament if the player refuses to
stop doing it?
P.S. Have you actually gotten a reply from support yet or are you talking a lac
of reply as approval? I'm sure they have someone minding the store with such a
important tournament going on, but they may be watching the actual tables rathe
than checking the support email queue, or they may have to go to higher-ups to
formulate a policy and not say things on their own.
