HR Programmer/Analyst
Job Description and Requirements
This position will primarily provide both Production support and
development for the PeopleSoft HR application. Candidate will be
expected to take responsibility for primary support and development
this application while providing additional support and development
for our Financials modules. Support and development work on other
HR and Financial applications may also be required. This position
requires a bachelors degree from an accredited university in Computer
Science or the equivalent along with 3-5 years of related programming
experience with at least 3 of those years using the PeopleSoft
developers toolkit.

· Ability to self-prioritize both Production Support and development
work
· Ability to multi-task and transition quickly between projects/issues

· Ability to gather and understand user requirements
· Ability to write detailed design specifications and test plans for
moderately complex projects

General Coding Skills
· Ability to follow coding standards and system development
methodology
· Lead code walkthroughs of current design work with the team
· Effectively, and with minimal supervision, use version control
software.
· Ability to follow complex detailed design specifications to create
or change programs and objects
· Create unit test plans
· Execute Unit, System and Integration testing accurately
· Independently complete moderately complex application process
changes from design through implementation
PeopleSoft Specific Skills
· PeopleTools I and II or their equivalent
· Strong knowledge of SQL – ability to write complex SQL statements
· Moderate PeopleCode knowledge
· Moderate Application Engine knowledge
· Application specific (Functional) knowledgeof at least 1 PeopleSoft
module
· Ability to use PS web site to log cases, find solutions and develop
skills
· Will take lead responsibility for troubleshooting problems with at
least one PS module.
