Job Description: . 24x7 fault management for all data services and data infrastructure products including xDSL, TLS, 1X3G, Internet . Advanced technical support of LAN/WAN switches, MPLS 2547/L2VPN, VPLS, and IP routers . Provide on-going detailed analysis of technologies deployed, traffic patterns, and network configurations - Directly participate in change management process . Work directly with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to troubleshoot and resolve network issues . Conduct informal training sessions with junior staff as needed . Coordinate activities with junior and senior staff during network troubles or outages . Act as liaison for large customer account support issues . Other duties / technologies as assigned Minimum Requirements: . 2 to 5 years in a network operations environment for a medium to large Carrier or ISP in support of large capacity circuits .
