You will be responsible for the management of the global help desk for this
International firm based in Illinois. You will be in the capacity of a
working manager where you are the most technical resource to the staff
reporting to you and to the organization in Office Automation Technologies
to include PC/Workstation hardware and software (MS Office and NT is
necessary) and peripherals (e.g. printers). You will be responsible for
identifying performance improvement issues and the establishment and
maintenance of Service Level Agreements (SLA's), and inventory and
procurement of PC hardware and software assets. In addition, you be
responsible for staff management to include hire/staff development for a
staff of 5-10 help desk professionals and you will be responsible for vendor
relationship building and maintenance.
Requirements: Hands on technical experience of at least 5 years with PC/LAN
hardware and software (Workstation and Server) to include NT, MS Office, SMS
(System Management Server), and TCP/IP. 5 years in a Help Desk or Call
Center capacity, and 2 years of Supervisory (hire/fire/staff development)
while still remaining technical so you can act as the Chief Technical
Resource to the Help Desk team.
Pluses in experience would be Lotus Notes, DK Helpdesk, Windows 2000 and
Windows XP.
