Provide assistance on environmental compliance programs and issues, acquisition and divestiture projects to reduce Company environmental liabilities. Supervise support personnel, outside consultants, and contract vendors as needed to meet project objectives. Develop and maintain relationships with Agencies, communities, and organizations to facilitate and leverage acceptance of remediation strategies. Work is diversified and complex and involves understanding and interpretation of regulations, technical specifications, and corporate policy. Major Accountabilities: 1.Evaluate and develop environmental site characterizations and develop plan to perform remedial investigation and feasibility study and remediation on project sites, specifically MGP and Superfund Sites. 2.Coordinate planning, prioritization, budgeting, scheduling and reconciliation of projects on a regular basis. 3.Established performance metrics to monitor MGP program expenditure and progress towards established milestones and goals. 4.Provide direction to project team members to maintain schedule and meet goals. 5.Develop contract specification and manage projects that have contracted remediation services. 6.Interface with outside companies, oversee and manage consultants to collaborate on projects. 7.Interface with local, state, and federal agencies to negotiate and discuss specific and general environmental issues. 8.Leverage expertise to provide customer focused environmental consulting support to internal EED customers on an as needed basis to support various environmental compliance objectives of EED projects. Minimum Requirements: 1.Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or related environmental field. (Graduate Degree preferred) 2.At least 8-10 years of experience in environmental projects including 4 years of experience managing environmental projects. 3.MPG and Superfund experience preferred. 4.Demonstrated knowledge of the fundamental principals of leadership. 5.Demonstrated ability to build consensus, establish trust, communicate effectively, and foster culture change. 6.Demonstrated ability to implement process enhancements and efficiencies including technology and performance. 7.Demonstrated business acumen, employee awareness ad ability to create and add value.
