Communicates with all levels within the organization to effectively implement safety and training standards. Other duties as assigned. Safety Works with Training personnel to assist in the development of safety training programs. Monitors, tracks and reports out on safety issues to senior management. Develops performance indicators for safety adherence. Monitors pending regulatory changes and implements changes within the organization as needed. Communicates with safety staff to ensure up-to-date practices (procedure changes, training, conducting demonstrations, etc.) Writes, maintains, and approves all safety procedures. Maintains safety professional qualifications as needed. Motivate, lead and hold employees accountable for safety and performance. Training Maintain training records in the Exelon Power personnel. Formulates training policies and programs based on knowledge of identified training needs, company operations, method and processes, business systems or changes in products, procedures or services Recommends appropriate instructional procedures or methods such as individual training, group instruction, self study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises, role play and computer based training Facilitates the development of training manuals, reference library, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids and other educational materials. Special projects as assigned. Requirements Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 8 - 10 years experience in managing safety programs. Strong oral communications, and negotiating skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of organization.
