Effectively cross sells and educates both existing and potential members in regards to credit union products and services, features and benefits. Good customer service skills and job knowledge a must. Bilingual (specifically Spanish) preferred, but not required. Receive telephone requests for account information and services. Effectively cross sell and educate our members and potential members on all available credit union products, services, features, and benefits, to include our automated vehicles (AR24, EZ Loan, Bill Payer, ATM & Citadel Cards, Payroll Deduction/ACH, Citadel Connect, CFS). Advises the member/potential member of the benefits of single and joint ownership of accounts, beneficiaries, and account policies. Ensures that all supporting documentation is properly completed for all requested services/account maintenance and forwarded accordingly. Open/maintenance certificates, club, and auxiliary share accounts. Process check re-orders and handle questions/problems relating to check orders. Process ATM/Citadel card requests for new, maintenance, and lost/stolen. Handle phone requests for wire transfer of funds. Complete, in full, the telephone wire transfer authorization, verifying sufficient funds for wire out and fee. Debit money from member’s account and charge fee. Process loan applications by inputting data into the LOS. Review loan policies and term/rate options with the members. Submits via email to the loan center for action. Cross-sell appropriate products, which should include, but not be limited to CLI, CKI, payroll deduction, MasterCard, and credit consolidation. Process MasterCard increases. Advise the member of the approval or denial of the loan request. Determine office location for disbursement; notify appropriate office by forwarding “approval” mailbox. Provide values on automobiles using the Kelley Blue Book on the Internet. Resolve member problems and complaints through interaction with other credit union staff if necessary. Initiate proper action and communicate resolution to the member. Interact with membership via the Internet for account information and services in a timely manner. All other duties as assigned within the department, keeping the supervisor informed of workload at all times. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and follow instructions. Friendly, courteous, and congenial telephone manner, with excellent listening and interpersonal skills. Ability to operate a telephone system, typewriter or CRT, and standard office equipment. Ability to sit at a workstation for extended periods of time.
