Actually my question is a two parter, but any advice on either subject would
be much appreciated.
I've been elected as President of the Economic Society of my school (Rowan
University, Glassboro NJ). And right now I am looking for ideas for things
that I could do with organization. They have no programs in place so I am
starting from the very beginning. Any ideas or suggestions as to what sort
of activities I could do with the organization would be much appreciated.
The second part is of a more personal nature, but since these are groups
that I participate in and value the intellectual opinion of many of you I
figure it wouldn't hurt to ask. I have been academically dismissed from my
school (GPA dropping under the minimum for good standing) and have a hearing
coming up for possible reinstatement. Many of my problems have stemmed from
a medical situation, but the responsibility of course falls on me and not
reporting it to the University. Of course I have the medical information to
present to the board, plus my activities on campus as being elected to
President of the Society, plus my other work with co-authoring on a paper
about the current Economic Situation in Zimbabwe plus releasing another text
that I did the research for. My question is, what do you think my best
course of action should be when I am at the hearing. I'm going to just be
honest about everything, but any suggestions of other things I should add in
would be welcomed. Thank you
